With a storytelling flair inspired by ancestral voices, songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist Masego blends jazz foundations with genre-fluid experimentation for a sound sometimes referred to as "Traphouse Jazz." His first breakout came with the spontaneous, mostly improvised 2017 single "Tadow," a collaboration with FKJ, and he issued his official full-length debut, the sultry Lady Lady, in 2018.
