Born on July 2, 1945, in Rome, NY, Marucci has performed alongside such notables as Jimmy Smith, Kenny Burrell, James Moody, Eddie Harris, Buddy DeFranco, Les McCann, Bobby Shew, Don Menza, and John Tchicai, among others.
