Matthew Young

Matthew Young is a musician, graphic designer, and author who weds folk, classical, and electronic instrumentation. He released two private-press LPs in the 1980s, Recurring Dreams and Traveler's Advisory, which were reissued by Drag City decades later. A third album of his compositions, Undercurrents, arrived in 2025. A folk musician for years, Young became interested in both popular electronic music and serious computer music in the early '70s.
