Maurício Carrilho is an important name in contemporary choro. He has worked as an arranger and/or musician for artists like Elizeth Cardoso, Nara Leão, Altamiro Carrilho, Francis Hime, Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola, Teca Calazans, and Chiquinho do Acordeon.
