Me Me Me was formed solely for the purpose of fulfilling artist Damien Hirst's request for a theme tune to accompany his new film project, entitled Hanging Around. Close friend and future colleague Blur's Alex James duly agreed and recruited Stephen Duffy, Elastica's Justin Welch, and longtime friend Charlie Bloor to record a song of the same name.
