Mercy

A Florida-based pop group formed by Jack Sigler, Jr. in the late '60s, Mercy hit it big in 1969 with the flower power ballad "Love (Can Make You Happy)." After enduring numerous lineup changes in its early days, with Sigler serving as the only consistent member, the band caught the attention of movie producer George Roberts, who wanted to use the band's new single ("Love ") in a film called Fireball Jungle.
