Mexicans with Guns

The productions and remixes of Mexicans with Guns -- an alias of San Antonio, TX-based polyglot Ernest Gonzales -- fall somewhere between post-dubstep and experimental hip-hop, pitting deep bass probes and insolent percussion against combinations of piercing noise detritus and cut-up vocal samples. MwG's debut was a 2008 remix of the Ernest Gonzales track "Lullaby 5."
