MiC LOWRY

R&B band MiC LOWRY hail from Liverpool, and the five-piece vocal harmony group formed in 2011 through the local music development company Positive Impact. Delleile Ankrah, Akia Jones, Kaine Ofoeme, Ben Sharples, and Michael Welch all grew up within a mile of each other and attended Calderstones School, which counts John Lennon among its former pupils. In 2014, the group was presented with the MOBO Unsung Award, and swiftly followed up that success with a slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at the Glastonbury festival.
