Biography
Prior to making his debut as a solo artist, Michael Beauchamp backed up and collaborated with a number of Americana-tinged indie acts based in Southeast Michigan, including Chris Bathgate, Breathe Owl Breathe, and the Ambitious Brothers. Beauchamp got involved in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti indie scene while he was a student in the University of Michigan's musicology program; after graduation, Beauchamp went on to study guitar under Joel Mabus.
