Michael Hurley

Singer and songwriter Michael Hurley became a cult hero for his playfully surreal brand of folk music that's witty, thoughtful, and filled with both joy and consternation. Married to simple and engaging melodies steeped in traditional folk styles, Hurley often preferred recording at home to going into a studio.
