A singer and songwriter who plays country music with a rock & roll edge, Michael Tyler hails from Thayer, Missouri. A self-taught musician, Tyler began making music at the age of eight, and he was discovered at the age of 13 by Michael Knox, a producer best known for his work with Jason Aldean. Knox corresponded with the talented youngster, offering advice on songwriting, for several years before Tyler came to Nashville to play a show at Tootsies Orchid Lounge.
