Cyber-rocker Michel Montecrossa was born to a violinist father and singer mother who met in Paris, and soon after Montecrossa's birth, joined a traveling artists' group that performed around Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Being raised in that community exposed Montecrossa to a wide variety of people and ideas, and at age six, he began playing the guitar, harmonica, and piano, and by 12 he was performing his own songs.
