Midge Ure is one of the pioneering voices of new wave synth pop. Predominantly known for his work with Visage and Ultravox, the guitarist/vocalist started his career in the 1970s outfits Slik and the Rich Kids. Following his departure from Visage and a brief stint in Thin Lizzy, Ure became a key member of Ultravox, bringing his songwriting skills to help them record one of the defining albums of the '80s, Vienna.
