Perhaps best known for his appearance on the 2004 reality vocal competition Rockstar:INXS, singer/pianist Mig Ayesa was born in the Philippines and raised in Sydney, Australia. Interested in music from a young age, it wasn't until Ayesa was introduced to jazz piano in his teens that he began writing and performing his own music. Prior to his appearance on Rockstar: INXS, Ayesa had been a member of various bands around Sydney and even had some luck as an actor.
