Taking their name from a skateboard trick (a variation on the skateboarding maneuver dubbed melancholy), Swedish skatepunk crew Millencolin emerged in the mid-'90s with a sound inspired by Southern California hardcore acts like Operation Ivy, the Descendents, and NOFX.
