Minotaurus

A folk-metal collective based out of Aschaffenburg, Germany, Minotaurus' dynamic blend of Celtic folk and power metal invokes names like Suidakra, Cruachan, Primordial, and Eluveitie. Formed in 1994, the group utilizes the talents of multiple vocalists, and employs a large arsenal of unconventional instruments, both electric and acoustic. A pair of demos preceded the release of the band's full-length debut, Path of Burning Torches, in 1999.
