Miramar

Richmond, Virginia's Miramar is a bolero project created in the mid-2010s by singer and songwriter Reinaldo Álvarez and keyboard player and arranger Marlysse Rose Simmons-Argandoña (both members of salsa band Bio Ritmo), with singer Laura Ann Singh. The trio took its inspiration from the Puerto Rican bolero tradition of the 1950s and '60s, and indeed debuted in 2016 with an acclaimed tribute to iconic singer and composer Sylvia Rexach.
