One of (the former) Czechoslovakia's best-known and most respected rock musicians, Miroslav Zbirka was born in Bratislava on October 21, 1952. Having made his mark with the legendary bands Modus and Limit, Miroslav (aka Miro and Meky) Zbirka went on to a massively successful solo career that included work sung in Czech, Slovak, and English.
