Biography
Chicago-based indie garage pop quintet Modern Vices formed in 2013. Their noisy guitar-led attack has elements of surf, garage, lo-fi indie, and what the band refers to as dirty doo wop. The band consists of frontman Alex Rebek, guitarists Peter Scoville and Thomas Peters, bassist Miles Kalchik, and drummer Patrick Hennessey. In 2014 they signed with Chicago indie Autumn Tone Records, which released their self-titled debut LP in October of that year. ~ Timothy Monger
