Chicago-based quartet Molder eschew any pretense with their choppy, sludgy death metal. Built on a lo-fi foundation of face-melting riffs and hellish, roaring vocals, their music nonetheless benefits from tireless craft in live venues and a faint patina of polish on studio releases Vanished Cadavers (2020), Engrossed in Decay (2022) and Catastrophic Reconfigurations (2024).
