Morales Pino

The traditional music of the Andean Mountains came alive, at the turn of the 20th century, through the playing of bandola (small accordion) player and composer Morales Pino (born Pedro Morales Pino) and his group, the Morales Pino Trio. A graduate of Escuela Nacional de Mexico, Pino formed the group in 1877. He continued to serve as director until 1908. ~ Craig Harris
