Mourning BLKstar

The Cleveland-based Mourning BLKstar are a collective spanning generations, gender, and genre. Their recordings and performances are a synthesis of soul, blues, gospel, jazz, hip-hop, and avant-electronics, mixing live instrumentation with programmed sounds, and feature a trio of vocalists who swap lead and background roles.
