British acoustic bluesman Mr. David Viner was discovered by the Von Bondies when he worked on their U.K. tour with the Kills. Originally hired to sell the Von Bondies' merchandise, Viner began playing his songs for the group members, who were so impressed that they had him play opening sets for the second half of the tour. A similar thing happened when he sold merchandise on the Soledad Brothers' U.K. tour -- on the second half of the tour, he played second guitar with them.
