Mr Sanka

Mr Sanka are a London-based indie dance-pop trio led by Nick van Hofwegen of Young & Sick, along with individuals referred to only as Mustafa and James. Their upbeat, joyous sound is influenced by classic disco and pop as well as French house, sounding like a cross between Phoenix and Paul Simon's Graceland. They debuted during the summer of 2016 with the single "Flight Mode." Subsequent singles "Be Easy" and "Gallon" followed in early 2017 with the latter receiving its own five-track remix EP. ~ Paul Simpson
