Mexican-descendant singer Myra had her breakthrough while opening for teen pop sensation Aaron Carter in February 2001 after getting her version of classic "Dancing in the Street" featured on the animated Recess: School's Out. Myra was born and raised in the U.S., proud of her Latin heritage.
