Biography
Dallas-based choir director, vocal arranger, producer, and backup singer Myron Butler worked for Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and Ted & Sheri before organizing his own vocal group, Levi. Signing to the EMI Gospel label, Butler & Levi made their first album, 2005's Set Me Free, which peaked in the Top 20 of the Top Gospel Albums chart and won four Stellar Awards. The group's second album, 2007's Stronger, fared even better, reaching number two on the Top Gospel Albums survey.
