Austrian-Iranian rapper Nazar was born Ardalan Afshar in Tehran on September 20, 1984. Growing up in Vienna, he began to rap in 2006 and published several songs online in 2007. His first official single, "Streetfighter, Pt. 2," came in 2008, followed by his debut album, Kinder des Himmels; several successful MTV videos quickly made him one of Austria's most well-known rappers.
