Rapper, singer, and producer Nevelle Viracocha emerged from the South during the latter half of the 2010s with a melodic but hard-hitting approach showcased on the 2016 mixtape Eff/Pee/Ohh and 2018 album Astral Hour. Born in North Carolina, raised in Alabama, and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Viracocha attracted attention from major online publications in 2015 with the single "Double Up."
