Biography

Violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley was partly trained in Europe and serves as First Concertmaster with the Berliner Philharmoniker. He is also active as a chamber musician and as a player and composer of klezmer music. Bendix-Balgley has made various recordings as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2025, he was heard on the Pentatone album Brahms/Koncz: Sonatas for Clarinet and Orchestra, performing the Quartet for piano, clarinet, violin, and cello, Op. 1, of Walter Rabl.
