O.B. Buchana is a Southern soul and blues singer with an easygoing approach that smoothly slides between ribald and heartfelt in nature. Born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, and raised in nearby Clarksdale, he started singing as a youngster in his Baptist church, and became lead singer of the gospel group Mighty Suns of God in his teens.
