French-Spanish pianist Olivier Chauzu studied at the Conservatory of Bordeaux, and was a student of Gabriel Tacchino at the Paris Conservatoire. He also studied with Théodore Paraskivesco, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Christian Ivaldi, Leon Fleisher, and Dmitri Bashkirov. Chauzu traveled to Canada to study with György Sebök, Paul Badura-Skoda, and Anton Kuerti at the Banff Center.
