Order From Chaos

The Kansas City, MO, metal trio Order from Chaos formed in 1987 with a lineup consisting of Pete Helmkamp (bass, vocals), Chuck Keller (guitar), and Mike Miller (drums). Inspired by bands such as Venom, Bathory, and Celtic Frost, the trio played a raw, messy, up-tempo brand of music that straddled the line between thrash and death metal. They recorded a trio of demos in the late '80s, the last of which, Crushed Infamy, led to their first record deal.
