While there is no shortage of rappers rhapsodizing about their -- real or alleged -- criminal lifestyle, few possess the credentials of Brazil's Oruam. Born Mauro Davi dos Santos Nepomuceno in 2001, Oruam is actually the son of the leader of one of Rio De Janeiro's most notorious gangs. Raised by his mother since his father was incarcerated, by the early 2020s Oruam had left his psychology studies to become a trap artist and influencer.
