Ou Est le Swimming Pool are an English synth pop band whose full-length album debut, The Golden Year, was released mere weeks after the tragic suicide of lead singer Charles Haddon in 2010. Founded in 2008 in Camden, London, the band is a trio comprised of Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan, in addition to Haddon. They made their commercial recording debut in 2009 with the single "Dance the Way I Feel" and toured as the supporting act of La Roux, another English synth pop act with a French name.
