Detroit, Michigan native Patrice Scott started DJ'ing in the '80s, inspired by enigmatic radio jock the Electrifying Mojo and his city's early techno and house scene. Major figures Ken Collier and Jeff Mills were among the fellow DJs whose paths he crossed while playing various clubs and events throughout the Motor City.
