This Fontana, California songwriter has released nine albums of his material. On The Secret Hits of Patrick Brayer, some of which was recorded in Dennis Hopper's kitchen, we get a good taste of his cynical, wry songwriting. "Three Kinds of News" lets us know we are implicated in everything and "40 Days and 40 Fights" describes a world with a hard-edged balance.
