Paul & the Tall Trees is the solo project of Staten Island singer/songwriter Paul Schalda. An appealing mix of warm soul, rustic Americana, and lightly psychedelic rock, Schalda diligently paid over a decade of dues playing everything from hardcore to straight-ahead rock, and eventually landed on a more acoustic-based affair as Pablo in 2005.
