For several reasons, Paula Faour invites comparisons to the well-known Eliane Elias. Like Elias, Faour is a Brazilian jazz instrumentalist who plays the acoustic piano and electric keyboards -- and she obviously shares Elias' strong appreciation of Bill Evans' lyricism.
