Permanent Ability is a commercial-oriented alt-rock band formed by Emmy Award-winning TV producer Brian Lanese in 2008. Fronting the Los Angeles four-piece, comprised of bassist Steve "Dino" Andino, guitarist Nick Gordon, and drummer Gary Rinaldi, Lanese yells raps in their hybrid of funk and amped-up rock. Heavily influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine, Permanent Ability contacted former Parliament Funkadelic bassist Lige Curry to guest on their first EP From the Womb to Hollywood.
