Singer Peyton Parrish is known for his throaty brand of Viking-inspired country and post-grunge, as well as his inventive cover tunes. He garnered viral fame in 2020 with his cover of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla video game song "My Mother Told Me," which was included in the TV show Vikings. That same year, he released his debut album, Cowboy Man, featuring the single "Ragnarök." He has continued to explore a mix of heavy metal, country, and Viking traditions on releases such as 2021's Rise of Vikingr and 2023's inspired Disney covers album The Most Magical Album on Earth.
