Philippe Quint

Russian-born violinist Philippe Quint developed his musical gifts at a young age and gave his first orchestral performance as a soloist when he was nine. He moved to the United States in 1991 and earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Juilliard. Although his repertoire includes the standard solo and chamber works for violin, he has made something of a specialty of contemporary American composers.
