Pink Floyd Floydhead

Operating out of Grand Rapids, Michigan since the late 2000s, DJ and Pink Floyd enthusiast Seth Thomas began Floydhead as a loose collective of DJs and electronic artists offering reinterperative mixes and techno re-imaginings of the music of Pink Floyd. Lengthy compilation-styled album The Floydian Propulsion Project sampled from all of Pink Floyd's studio albums, resulting in 20 tracks of warped ambience and driving electronica centered around snippets both familiar and obscure from the Floyd catalog. ~ Fred Thomas
