Songwriter Phil Cross has more than ten years of successful gospel hits to his credit, among them "Champion of Love," a Dove Award winner. Despite the fact that his songs were being recorded successfully by a number of artists, he wanted to share his message and music in a way he felt called to do, and his desire led him to pull together the quartet that came to be known as Poet Voices.
