Powersurge was a heavy metal band based in Tampa, FL, whose rather unimaginative and overly ponderous brand of American power metal resembled a poor man's version of contemporaries like Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory, and Fifth Angel -- hardly the makings of a successful career.
