The brooding indie rock of proderics is the product of a self-produced D.I.Y. project. Based in Dublin, Ireland, he first appeared broadly on social media and on major streaming sites with the TikTok breakout "strangers," featuring melodybloom on vocals. The song landed in the Top 20 of the Billboard TikTok Top 50 in 2024. The pair teamed up again the same year for "science" and in 2025 for the more keyboard-heavy "whistle," which also featured Valentime.
