Professor Louie & The Crowmatix

Formed by Aaron L. Hurwitz, the Crowmatrix play contemporary blues that is clearly rooted in the form's early tradition. Hurwitz had earlier played keyboards with the Mighty Gospel Giants Of Harlem and toured with Mercury Rev. He produced albums by Four Men And A Dog and, most notably, produced and played on albums by the Band. Among other bands with which he played, sometimes recording and producing albums, are the David Nelson Band and Graham Parker.
