Promised Land Sound

Nashville-based indie combo Promised Land Sound play a mix of artful country-rock and gently psychedelic pop with a vintage flavor. Made up of a group of young but seasoned players who emerged from Nashville's fertile garage scene, they quickly set themselves apart by relying more on twang, soul, and pop than raw swagger. Main songwriting duties fall to singer/bassist Joey Scala and guitarist Sean Thompson, with Scala's younger brother Evan rounding out the original trio on drums and vocals.
