Pugh Rogefeldt

Pugh Rogefeldt had a number of hits in the '70s and expanded Swedish mainstream rock using playful arrangements and merging different styles. His most important contribution to Swedish rock was breaking the language barrier. Not only did he sing in Swedish, but he used it in a way that hadn't been done before, emphasizing the language's expressiveness while utilizing the singing techniques of modern rock.
