Eclectic UK alternative outfit Pusherman was formed in 1994 and began establishing their reputation by playing underground all-night parties in London, England. Andy Frank (vocals), Meredith ‘Yank' Reid (b. 1965, Wichita, Kansas, USA, d. 28 April 2000, London, England; vocals, harmonica), Bo Ellery (bass), Martin Hoyland (guitar), Tony Antoniou (guitar) and Harry Harrison (drums) were happy enough to continue in this vein until they were spotted by producer Owen Morris, who invited them into the studio to record a demo tape.
