Biography
Hailing from the suburb of Markham, on Chicago's South Side, Quick Change were formed in 1983 and enjoyed quite a bit of local fame as a heavy metal covers band before starting to write their own material. In fact, when they released their debut album, Circus of Death, in 1988, vocalist Dwayne Whitehead, guitarists Dubs Anderson and Mike McCarthy, bassist Mike Saint, and drummer John Kruczek exhibited a serious Anthrax/SOD influence -- not only in their crisp, high-speed riffing, but their odd mixture of real world, shock-horror, and just plain silly song topics as well.
